Privacy Information Notice (KVKK)

This disclosure is prepared under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") to inform you about the processing of your personal data.

1. Identity of the data controller

Your personal data is processed by Match.INK as the data controller. The data controller's official title is not yet finalized in product documentation; this text will be updated when the official title is confirmed.

2. Personal data processed and purposes

The following groups of data may be processed when you use the Platform:

• Identity and contact data: First name, last name, email, phone number. Processed for account creation, account management, communication, and security.
• Profile and content data: Bio, areas of expertise, portfolio images, profile images, and other content you choose to publish. Processed to deliver Platform services and publish your profile.
• Location data: City selected at registration, coordinates chosen on the map on the profile location screen, city derived from coordinates, and device location from your browser if you use the "Find my location" feature. Processed to establish profile location, make map selections, verify city information, nearby listings, and calculate proximity of listings and studio profiles.
• Transaction security data: IP address, sign-in/out timestamps, browser information, logs. Processed to run information security processes and fulfill legal obligations.
• Marketing data: Processed via in-app notifications and email only if you give explicit consent, for campaigns, product information, and special offers.

The Platform's standard flows are not designed to collect health data or similar special categories of personal data. Sensitive data unnecessary for providing the service should not be shared in messaging or support channels.

3. Collection method and legal basis

Your personal data are collected electronically by automatic or partially automatic means when you register, use your account, update your profile, upload portfolio content, and use map/location features. Processing may rely on Article 5/2(c) of the KVKK (performance of a contract), Article 5/2(f) (legitimate interests), and other applicable legal bases where relevant. Marketing activities rely solely on your explicit consent.

Marketing consent is optional and not required to use the Platform. You may withdraw consent at any time under Account Settings > Marketing communications consent.

4. Recipients and purposes of transfers

Collected personal data may be transferred to service providers such as Firebase Authentication, Firebase Storage, MongoDB, SMTP email infrastructure, Google Maps Platform, Google Gemini API, and Pinterest API/integration as needed to deliver the service technically. Google Maps Platform is used for map display, map selection, reverse geocoding, and, where you use them, location-assisted features. Some transfers may involve cross-border processing due to service infrastructure. Data may also be transferred to competent public authorities and judicial bodies in legal disputes. When matching with customers occurs, limited information necessary to provide the service may be shared with the relevant user.

Transfers through internationally connected services are managed under the appropriate legal basis under applicable law, including explicit consent, adequacy decisions, appropriate safeguards, or other suitable transfer mechanisms.

Pinterest-related framework:

• Pinterest-derived data is not sold, rented, brokered, or redistributed to unrelated third parties.
• No actions are taken on your Pinterest account without your authorization and a specific user action or knowledge.
• If you disconnect, future Pinterest-linked actions cease; active credentials/tokens are disabled or removed as reasonably practicable (subject to legal obligations and log/retention caveats).
• Match.INK is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of Pinterest.

5. Your rights and how to exercise them

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed; if so, to request information; to learn the purpose of processing and whether use is consistent with that purpose; to know third parties to whom data are transferred; to request correction if incomplete or inaccurate; to request deletion or destruction; and to claim compensation if you suffer harm.

To exercise these rights, submit your requests via the form on the /support page or by email to privacy@match.ink. Account deletion requests should not use that form; use account settings or the /account-deletion page and support@matchink.app. Requests are generally finalized within 30 days at the latest and, as a rule, free of charge.
